I Took my husband's car in for an oil change. We had a coupon that comes in that envelope of coupons every month, oil change for 19.95 25 bucks or so without a coupon. You can also get coupons for them in the coupon flyer that you get in the mail, the Clipper, or Saver, or Whatever. This place is the nicest auto repair shop I have ever seen. Free internet access that lets you browse with Firefox, play area with Xbox for the kids, flat screen TV with cable, magazines, newspapers, free coffee, and sodas and other drinks for 50 cents. Lots of comfortable waiting areas. And you will wait.... , they do repairs and are a full service shop. Still, I waited for the oil change with an appointment, albeit in the lap of auto waiting room luxury. I had a great conversation with the guys who work there about real estate, game stations, and games. They seem to enjoy their job and their working environment, the whole place seems low stress and has good vibes. I'll be back to get my oil changed, once I find another coupon. I just looked at their website and if you go here: honest-1.com you can get coupons to print and use for service. This coupon shows the oil disposal fee as 3, so it looks like you'll save 2 dollars off that as well. Turns out this is a chain and there are other locations in Portland.
